The focus is not on collecting techniques, but on understanding how and why they work, and how to apply them with precision, ethics, and presence for your play.

You will revisit and sharpen foundational elements of erotic and hypnotic play, including framing, induction, anchoring, conditioning, emergence, and aftercare, while exploring how these principles come alive through ritual, embodiment, and creative expression using whatever tools you like.

David Marius

David is a Master Hypnotherapist and Coach. He is a Master Trainer in Verbal and Non-Verbal Hypnosis, NLP, Mesmerism, Fascination and Gaze. Since 2023, he has adapted his teachings into his BDSM practice as a professional dom (and switch).

🚫 You are looking for therapy, healing work, or trauma processing. While the experiences here can be meaningful, this retreat is not a therapeutic space. It is an exploration of power, trance, ritual, and embodied play, not a place to be fixed, rescued, or treated.

Who is the retreat for?

This retreat is designed for self aware adults who feel drawn to intimacy, trance, and perception based play.

It is for people who want to explore hypnosis as a relational and erotic art, not just as a technique. Participants may identify as dominants, submissives, switches, facilitators, artists, or explorers of power dynamics.

What does experienced practitioner means, truly? You may already have experience in areas such as BDSM, hypnosis, ritual, tantra, temple spaces, theatre, performance, or embodied practices, or you may feel ready to step into this terrain with responsibility and curiosity. You have attended at least one consent workshops and have experience in navigating erotic spaces.

What matters most is not labels or credentials, but your capacity to:
• engage with consent consciously
• communicate clearly around boundaries
• take responsibility for your inner experience
• approach erotic power with presence and care

This retreat is not about proving expertise or collecting titles. It is about refining perception, presence, and intentional play within a mature and accountable container.

Is it a healing or therapeutic retreat?

No. This retreat is not a therapeutic or healing retreat.

While participants may experience insight, emotional release, or personal shifts, HYPNOTIC is not designed as a space for therapy, trauma processing, or psychological treatment.

The focus of this retreat is hypnotic play, ritualized play, perception, and embodied exploration. The work centers on power dynamics, trance, presence, and consensual erotic interaction, not on fixing, diagnosing, or healing participants.

Each person is expected to arrive with personal responsibility, emotional self awareness, and the capacity to care for themselves within intense or altered states. Supportive facilitation is present, but it does not replace professional therapeutic care.

If you are currently seeking healing, recovery, or clinical support, this retreat may not be the appropriate environment. HYPNOTIC is an exploration of experience and agency, not a therapeutic container.

Is the retreat sexually explicit?

None of the exercises or workshops involve explicit sexual activities. This is not a sex retreat. While participants are free to engage sexually during free time, like in any other space, the content of the workshops, exercises and rituals are non-sexual and genitals are never involved. In that way, we hope to encourage creative expression and erotic imagination.

Is this a tantra training?

No. This isn't a tantra training or a sex training. This training is more psychology and BDSM based, but it has some energetic components to it too.

What if I feel nervous or unsure?

That’s natural, and welcome. We value sensitivity, honesty, and communication.

Feeling unsure or nervous is normal. Entering a space that involves altered states, intimacy, and power dynamics naturally brings questions and apprehension.

This retreat is structured to support clarity and choice. There is no requirement to participate in anything you do not feel ready for. Consent is ongoing, reversible, and respected at every stage.

You are encouraged to move at your own pace, to communicate openly, and to listen to your boundaries as they evolve. Observation and non participation are always valid options.

Facilitation focuses on creating a container where awareness, agency, and responsibility are prioritized over intensity. Nervousness is not something to overcome or push through, but information to work with.

You are never expected to perform, prove, or exceed your limits. The work unfolds through attention, not pressure.

Do couples get a discount?

No. Couples do not get a discount as this would be unfair for people who are single. However, couples who book 2 shared rooms or 2 shared tents will get own private room or tent together for more privacy.

What is the refund policy?

By registering for a retreat facilitated by David Marius Boulet and Maia Boulet-Loiseau (Katarsis), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Enrollment & Payment

Your place is confirmed once full payment is received or first installment of payment plan paid.

All plans complete 60 days before start.

Limited spaces: first come, first served.

Missed payments = spot release, no refund.

2. Cancellations by Participant

90 days: 50% refund or 12-month credit.

60–90 days: 25% refund.

<60 days: Non-refundable (venue/logistics locked).

3. Transfers

To another participant: Up to 30 days, free.

To future event: Organizer discretion, exceptional cases only.

4. Cancellations by Organizer

Full refund or credit if postponed/canceled.

No liability for your travel/expenses (flights, visas, etc.).

Do couples get a discount?

Like any other explorative activities, engaging in play, power dynamics, group dynamics and BDSM isn't risk-free. However, these risks can be brought significantly down by observing the basic rules of ethics, consent and safety. We do our very best to mitigate these risks by implementing strong safety rules and support. Our containers are considered safer than most other similar retreats because we don't allow penetrative sex and direct genital touch during practice and play time. Participants are screened upon sign up and the high number of facilitators allow ongoing support all throughout the retreat. Also, we don't allow activities than can leave permanent marking on the skin or alter the body in any way. We also don't allow any kind of hypnotic activities or psychological play geared towards revisiting past trauma or meet your deepest fears. We keep things light and fun.
